Product Durability Testing Officer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Durability Testing Officer to join our Coated Products Evaluation team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the durability of our pre-painted products, including their corrosion, humidity, and UV resistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality assessments and evaluations of product panels
  • Test the accelerated and outdoor durability of pre-painted products
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory NATA accreditation
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve safe and efficient working practices

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar field or a qualification in Materials Engineering, Science, or Chemistry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
