About the Role:

Lifeline Australia Ltd is seeking a skilled Mental Health Content Specialist to join their Product and Experience team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring mental health best practices inform online products, services, and experiences.

The successful candidate will have direct experience in mental health, whether through psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field. A deep understanding of mental health trends, best practices, and terminology is required for this role. High in empathy, you will be an expert communicator and comfortable looking at the world from a user perspective.

Responsibilities include working with content specialists and product managers to provide feedback, guidance, and support on content ready for publication. You will also communicate clinical terms in plain language that everyday Australians can understand, and work closely with digital producers and business stakeholders to develop policies, processes, and frameworks for content creation.

About You:

You will have a tertiary qualification in psychology, mental health, social work, or a related field, and experience providing clinical or mental health and wellbeing subject matter expertise. A pragmatic approach to mental health best practices and guidelines with a focus on what will provide value to Australians seeking support is essential. You will also have a passion for content creation and editing, and the ability to work with a team to translate clinical knowledge into accessible and engaging content.
