The Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist plays a pivotal role in delivering high-level paediatric physiotherapy clinical services across the continuum of care to children and their families within a tertiary paediatric service. This role involves participation in multidisciplinary teams related to clinical paediatric subspecialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-level paediatric physiotherapy clinical services of a complex and varied nature within various settings across CHQ HHS, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to provide comprehensive care to children and young people.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the relevant state/territory health practitioner regulatory authority.
- Proven experience working in paediatric physiotherapy, preferably in a tertiary setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
