Accounts Payable Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate recording of accounting information and timely payment to suppliers.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Accurate processing of supplier invoices for accrual in the Accounting system via AP OCR engine
  • Authorisation of invoices according to company policy
  • Collation of purchase orders and matching with invoices for payment run
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve supplier enquiries and obtain necessary information
  • Processing weekly creditors trial balance and cheque/EFT runs for creditor payments
  • Effective management of creditors' enquiries and maintenance
  • Provision of reconciliations of Creditors accounts as required

For success in this role, you will require excellent organisational skills, strong analytical skills, good communication skills, and adaptability to changing work situations.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 6-12 months experience or equivalent education and experience.
