Bakery Sanitation Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness to join our team as a Bakery Dishwasher/Cleaner.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitise bakery equipment, utensils, and dishes according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of designated work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and wiping down surfaces.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary products are readily available for use.
- Assist with general bakery duties, such as packaging products, restocking shelves, and assisting bakers when required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Proven experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with other bakery staff.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as our bakery operates seven days a week.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods, as this role requires constant movement and lifting.
