Job Title: Commercial Banking Analyst - Cb150 (Melbourne)

The position offers the opportunity to conduct client and industry research, financial analysis, modelling and risk assessment in the thriving Commercial Banking business that serves businesses with turnovers between $30M and $150M.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise quality, credit management, portfolio monitoring, revenue growth and loss minimisation.
  • Support business bankers to align client needs, enhancing service and strategising product offerings.
  • Maintain data integrity, ensure compliance and analyse client data.
  • Research new prospects, manage credit submissions and conduct annual reviews promptly.

Requirements:

  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with commercial insight across diverse sectors.
  • Adaptable, both independent and a team player.
  • The ability to quickly gain an understanding of complex transactions.
  • Prioritise risk, compliance and credit assurance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.
  • Ideal Business/Commerce degree with financial accounting or insolvency experience.
