Child Development Specialist

This role is an opportunity to work closely with families, providing advice, support and guidance during the critical foundational years of each child's life.
The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting healthy outcomes for children and their families, managing physical, emotional or social factors affecting families in contemporary communities, and providing timely accurate and relevant information to assist families achieve maximum health potential.
We are looking for a nurse with demonstrated clinical experience in Maternal & Child Health, who is committed to family-centered practice within an integrated early years service model.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote healthy outcomes for children and their families.
- Manage physical, emotional or social factors affecting families.
- Provide timely, accurate and relevant information to assist families achieve maximum health potential.
- Registered General Division 1 Nurse & Midwife with AHPRA registration.
- A postgraduate qualification in Maternal & Child Health Nursing.
- Immunisation qualification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to family-centered practice within an integrated early years service model.
- Part-time (0.8 FTE) position.
- Fixed term 12-month contract.
