Project Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Sustaining Capital Mining Delivery team in Newcastle.

This role will see you enhance your capabilities and contribute to landmark projects. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes for clients and communities.

About the Role:
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Perform critical path analysis and scenario planning.
  • Track progress, identify delays, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare reports supporting project end-users, project management, and the executive.
  • Facilitate workshops for schedule development/update and recovery.
  • Integrate with the project team, including project/construction management, contracts/commercial, project controls, stakeholders, and approvals.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Preferably use Power BI for advanced reporting and visualization.
Requirements:
  • 7-15 years of experience in scheduling.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Expertise in Excel.
  • Preferably experience with Power BI and reporting.
  • Preferably experience in preparing and running Schedule Risk Assessments.
  • Preferably experience in project management software, such as InEight.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience in mining, energy, water, or infrastructure projects.
