Risk and Compliance Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Business Partner to join our team at Bluefin Resources. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our risk management framework and compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Partnering: Partner with business units to understand strategy, initiatives, operations, and processes to ensure alignment with the Risk Management Framework and compliance obligations.
- Protecht Implementation & Automation: Oversee the uplift and continued implementation of the Protecht risk management software across our organization's framework.
- Risk & Incident Management: Ensure incidents are reported, mitigated, and managed until closure using the Protecht system.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring the ongoing development of effective risk management practices.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain risk and compliance registers, record incidents in Protecht, and provide comprehensive reporting to management and regulators.
- 2-5 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably within financial services.
- Experience in controls assurance and conducting risk and control assessment reviews.
- Familiarity with Protecht or other risk management tools is highly advantageous.
- A degree in accounting or law is desirable.
- Industry and professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CISA, CIA, CFA, MBA) are desirable.
- Big 4 auditing and assurance experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, high initiative, and ability to operate independently.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
