Job Title: A220 Simulator Instructor/Examiner

A successful candidate will have the responsibility to lead and conduct training of pilots in a fixed base and full flight simulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct training of pilots in the simulator according to the applicable Training and Checking Manual requirements.
  • Conduct other training duties as required, including ground school training duties.
  • Develop, review and implement training programs.
  • Monitor training standards and compliance with all the requirements of the applicable company manuals and regulations.
  • Identify and correct procedures that improve the safe operation of aircraft.
  • Assist in the redevelopment of the training manual to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in professional development activities.
  • Build strong relationships and demonstrate leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform duties at training facilities at other locations, including overseas locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold an Australian ATPL or equivalent license.
  • Be able to complete A220 type rating and recurrent training.
  • Have significant experience in simulator instruction and/or checking.
  • Hold a Simulator Instructor Rating and/or Flight Examiner Rating.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and coaching/mentoring skills.
  • Have expertise in exercising regulatory delegations.
  • Meet NJS Training and Checking Manual requirements.
