As a key professional in our hospital, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and safety of patient care through simulation-based training. The Gandel Simulation Service is a comprehensive in-situ simulation service that focuses on translational simulation in real clinical spaces, primarily through interprofessional team-based simulation.

The Simulation Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Gandel Simulation Service and its team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the expansion of our inter-professional simulation service. This role will involve promoting a supportive learning environment for all simulation staff and participants, developing the skills of team members, and achieving relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A registered midwife or nurse with recent and extensive post-registration experience.
  • Previous management experience and demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current evidence-based simulation and clinical learning practice.
