Lifestyle Solutions is a dynamic and caring organization dedicated to providing innovative and flexible person-centred support for individuals with disabilities.

We are seeking a Disability Support Professional to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. As a key member of our Supported Independent Living program, you will play a vital role in empowering customers to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and guide customers to explore and develop their personal interests and skills
  • Teach independent living skills such as cooking, domestic, and social skills
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans
  • Complete accurate and detailed handover notes and incident reports
  • Provide personal care when required, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing

You will work closely with our customers to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans that promote independence and community participation.

Requirements:

  • A current driver's license (mandatory requirement)
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or confirmation of enrolment)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with verbal and non-verbal customers
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and sleepovers

We offer a competitive salary based on the SCHADS Award 2.1-2.2, pending qualifications. Our benefits include:
