Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

  • Maintain the Stock Control System, ensuring sufficient supplies are on hand, and reorder stock as needed.
  • Order consumables such as milk and distribute them among kitchen fridges in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with staff to source and purchase goods for various departments and agencies.
  • Update and input data into the Service Desk System for replacement or delivery of consumable products.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing stock movements and arrange bulk waste bin collection.
  • Help delivery drivers with loading and unloading stock using forklifts and manually.
  • Ensure servicing and maintenance of company-supplied equipment is performed correctly.
  • Provide high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Distribute RWWA consumables for use by staff and agents.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in supply, purchasing, and warehouse management, particularly stock handling.
  • A current C-class Driver's License and Forklift license.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures.
  • Familiarity with OHS guidelines and a responsible attitude towards health and safety.
  • Completion of year 10 or equivalent education.
  • Organizational and administration skills.
  • Basic problem-solving, computer literacy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work unsupervised or as part of a team.
