Job Summary

We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage the warehouse and procurement functions. This role will involve overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchasing and distribution of goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordination and control of all warehouse assets and equipment.
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the annual stocktake.
  • Liaise with supplier sales representatives.
  • Arrange for servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant.
  • Expedite purchase orders for stock items and direct supply, ensuring the end user is notified of the delivery and availability dates.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience with warehouse management responsibilities relating to materials management.
  • Demonstrated experience with computerised supply systems in relation to procurement, contract and materials management.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed customer and quality service focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely within a team environment or independently with minimum supervision.
  • Current 'LF' Class Forklift Operators licence.
  • Experience with Oracle would be highly desirable.
