Commercial Lawyer Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a commercially savvy lawyer to contribute to a dynamic in-house legal team.
The successful candidate will report to and assist the Head of Legal and Compliance with delivering timely, high-quality, and commercially focused legal services that align with the strategic and commercial objectives of the organization.
- Provide expert guidance on fund development and maintenance, including establishment, consolidation, and/or decommissioning.
- Manage legal risks associated with offering documents such as PDSs, IMs, PPMs, TMDs, Design & Distribution obligations.
- Support the marketing team to ensure marketing plans and materials comply with local and offshore regulations.
- Manage regulatory compliance under Australian and offshore regulatory requirements.
- Offer transactional support drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
- Respond to regulatory queries and manage external counsel as necessary.
- Enhance legal processes by improving precedent documents and policies, investor communications, and governance frameworks.
- Advising on fund development and maintenance.
- Managing legal risks associated with offering documents.

Requirements:
- Australian qualification as a solicitor or barrister.
- Current membership of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
