About the Role

We're seeking a Commercial Lawyer (2+ years PAE) to join our Melbourne team. More experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply — this role can evolve into a Senior Lawyer or Leadership position for the right person.

This role offers variety, responsibility, and direct client contact from day one. You'll work closely with a senior partner with over 40 years' experience, gaining valuable mentorship while running your own matters.

You will:

Advise on commercial and corporate transactions (including property and financial)

Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements

Assist with business restructures and estate planning for commercial clients

Provide corporate and business advisory services

Work with a diverse and sophisticated client base across industries

About You

You'll be a great fit if you:

Have 2+ years' post-admission experience in commercial or corporate law

Enjoy variety and working across different practice areas

Want direct client engagement and the chance to grow your own client base

Are ambitious, commercially minded, and a strong communicator
