We are seeking a highly skilled Process Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of equipment in our large fixed plant process mining environment.

  • Repair and maintain components in various areas of the Process Plant including filtering, reagents, carbon in leach circuit, carbon regeneration, elution, water services and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Operate plant equipment such as elevated work platforms, forklifts, overhead cranes, dogging and basic rigging.

The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude and a trade certificate in mechanical fitting or fabrication. They should also have experience working in a large process plant environment, strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.

  • Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication Trade Certificate with a mechanical background or aptitude
  • Minimum of two years maintenance experience in a large process plant environment
  • Communication skills - verbal and written
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge of CMMS software preferably SAP
  • Familiarity with statutory regulations relevant to safety and environment for the mining industry
  • High risk license for forklift, elevated work platform, dogging/rigging (preferred)
  • Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights qualifications (preferred)
