
Paediatric Speech Pathology Specialist

The primary function of this role is to deliver advanced-level paediatric speech pathology services, focusing on complex feeding/swallowing disorders and communication difficulties in an acute hospital setting. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for novel clinical challenges.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to infants and children with complex medical conditions and disabilities.
- To contribute to the advancement of quality speech pathology services through provision of clinical leadership, supervision, service development, quality improvement, education, and research activities.
- A tertiary degree in Speech Pathology from a recognized institution and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Appointment requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia.
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
