The successful candidate will progress to contribute to innovation projects, drive product quality improvements, test and validate design concepts, mentor others, and continually improve the capabilities and skills of the broader engineering team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable leading projects and taking ownership of required deliverables. You will deliver robust outcomes that are mature and highly manufacturable. You will collaborate with other engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help the broader team improve processes and practices.

As an Electronics Engineer, you will develop BMS (Battery Management Systems), including utilising second-life batteries, design power converters using mathematical analysis, modelling and simulation, provide specialised engineering support in power electronics for battery management, maintain suitable documentation of work conducted, and perform ad-hoc engineering tasks and activities as required.

Key responsibilities include planning and managing innovative power electronics projects, design verification, production validation, proficiency in analog and digital circuit designs, communication protocols, EMI/EMC understanding and product experience, and production support experience.

Nice-to-have qualifications include experience propagating technical knowledge via mentoring, experience leading a team or project teams, familiarity with V-model development, functional safety knowledge, and analytical thinking for circuit debugging.
