Job Title: Allied Health Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients in various settings, providing individualized care and support.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position available across Residential Aged Care and Community Home Care settings.
  • You will be responsible for conducting one-on-one and group wellness services to residents, as well as assisting professional staff with consumer therapy and facilitating telehealth services with qualified Allied Health professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Resident-Centered Outcomes: Deliver high-quality care that prioritizes the needs and goals of each resident.
  2. Conduct Wellness Services: Provide one-on-one and group wellness services to residents, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
  3. Assist Professional Staff: Support professional staff by helping with consumer therapy, documenting progress, and communicating with family members and healthcare teams.
  4. Facilitate Telehealth Services: Coordinate and facilitate telehealth services with qualified Allied Health professionals to provide timely and effective care to residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a current and valid driver's license to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Demonstrate intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification: Hold current certification in first aid and CPR to ensure residents receive prompt and effective care in emergency situations.
