About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Lawyer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing individual to work on high-profile and technically challenging transactions in the energy and resources sector.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mining and oil and gas regulatory frameworks in Australia, as well as superior analytical, communication and organisation skills. They will be able to work effectively with clients and demonstrate a desire and capacity to work on high-profile and technically challenging matters.

Job Description

As a member of our team, you will be working on market-leading projects and transactions that shape the Australian energy and resources sector. Our team's mix of extensive experience in mining, oil and gas and renewable energy enables us to advise on a variety of projects, and across their entire lifecycle, from acquisition and development through to operations and eventual divestment.

You will be working closely with highly motivated and ambitious individuals, including partners who are all recognised as leaders in their field.

Claire was ranked by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2025 and Chambers Global 2025 in Mining and is recognised as a Leading Individual for Natural Resources by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2025.

Michael is renowned for his work in Mining and Energy & Natural Resources, both regionally and globally, with recognition as a Foreign Expert for Africa-wide Energy & Natural Resources by Chambers Global 2025. He is also highly regarded for Project Development and M&A by IFLR.

Clare is celebrated by Best Lawyers 2025 across multiple areas, including Corporate Law, Energy Law, Mining Law, Natural Resources Law, and Oil and Gas.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex transactions, regulatory matters, and project development within the natural resources industry.
