Job Title: Operational Manufacturing Director

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our manufacturing operations, driving efficiency and productivity through strategic planning and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules, inventory control systems, and quality assurance protocols to optimize plant performance.
  • Mentor and train production staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Embed Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to drive process enhancements and cost reductions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production process execution.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, with expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in fast-paced environments.
  • A focus on hands-on leadership and support of Lean continuous improvement principles.
  • Proficiency in IT and ERP systems to drive operational improvements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead high-performing teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
