Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced inventory professional to join our team as an Inventory Controller. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management on site.

Your primary objective will be to deliver high-level stock control support through the efficient execution of receipting, stocktakes, cycle counts, stock adjustments, and credit returns.

This involves managing damaged goods, order verification, out-of-stock and aged stock reporting, loss prevention initiatives, and optimising product location accuracy to ensure seamless warehouse operations.

You will also be responsible for managing a small team and ensuring all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

  • Ensure timely and accurate inventory processes, including stock receipting, cycle counts, stocktakes, adjustments, and returns
  • Perform root cause analysis of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Provide regular reporting and maintain accurate records using a mainframe system
  • Maintain stock integrity and visibility while minimising product loss
  • Develop and maintain procedures during system downtime and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer KPIs are achieved
  • Actively contribute to a safe working environment and uphold a Vision Zero safety culture
Requirements

We are looking for individuals with exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory control.

  • Prior experience in inventory control, warehousing or transport environments
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience using RF and warehousing systems
  • Knowledge of inventory best practices and reconciliation processes
  • Proven ability to make informed decisions and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A passion for safety, with a proactive approach to WHS
