Job Title: Aviation Customer Support Specialist

SAFRAN Helicopter Engines Australia is seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to customers within our zoned area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer requirements and provide high-level customer service
  • Quotation, negotiations, dispatching, and invoicing for spare parts, accessories, and tooling
  • Raise tooling rental contracts and manage rentals with the Maintenance Centre
  • Arrange spare parts and accessory supply for support contracts
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers on order status and forecasts
  • Prepare and liaise with the Supply Chain for repair of customer-owned accessories and tooling
  • Monitor Min/Max levels and inventory control of parts for customers with the Supply Chain
  • Track and provide follow-up status to customers on equipment sent for repair
  • Process warranty claims with the Warranty Coordinator
  • Fulfill customer Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders and provide follow-up
  • Participate in the rotation of AOG on-call duty
  • Prepare customer quotations and sales orders for Engines & Modules
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience in a commercial aviation environment or high-paced administrative role
  • Previous experience in a spare parts industry
  • Understanding of quality systems and airworthiness in the aviation industry
  • Experience working within contractual obligations
