The Compliance Coordinator will utilise investigative and risk management skills to help manage the impacts of invasive plants and animals in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue compliance activities according to and contribute to the continuous improvement review and implementation of strategies plans and procedures.
- Manage a small team including providing support in undertaking investigations enforcement activities and meeting Workplace Health and Safety obligations.
- Respond to and investigate alleged breaches of the Biosecurity Act 2014.
- Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will know you're achieving success in the role when you:
- Effectively identify respond to and investigate alleged breaches of the Biosecurity Act 2014 regarding electric ants and contribute to the continuous improvement review and implementation of compliance strategies plans and procedures.
- Successfully manage your own work priorities ensuring assigned tasks are undertaken promptly and meet project deliverables.
- Contribute as an active member of a high-performing team.
