Job Title: ICT Project Leader

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICT project leader to manage the transition of our agency’s ICT services from an internal arrangement to a shared services arrangement with another government department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy that aligns with our agency’s overall business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the transition of ICT services, ensuring value for money for our agency, continuity of services, and implementation of a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Provide strong and considered advice to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business leaders across the agency to understand their technology needs and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within and between our agency and the Department of Parliamentary Services.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of our agency’s IT systems and data, and implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in ICT project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience working in the public sector.
  • Knowledge of ICT systems and technologies.
