Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our technical staff, you will play a critical role in providing expert-level support to our clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote and occasional onsite support to customers, addressing issues related to servers, desktops, and applications within Microsoft Azure, Active Directory (AD), and Exchange environments.
  • Support and maintain cloud infrastructure across Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure platforms, ensuring systems' efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with solutions experts to maintain best practice environments and address complex technical challenges.
  • Participate in project teams to deploy and manage IT solutions for clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting and logging all actions and solutions in our systems for accountability and future reference.

Requirements:
  • An extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principles.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Deep knowledge in Windows Server, desktop and Azure AD/GPO/DNS/DHCP.
  • Strength across messaging platforms including Exchange Hybrid, On-prem and Office 365.
  • Experience working with Hyper-V and other virtualisation solutions.
  • Extensive experience with backup technologies.
  • Excellent complex-problem diagnosis technique.
  • Exposure to ticketing tools.
