About the Role

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to critically unwell children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
">As a Paediatric Intensive Care nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in caring for patients with complex needs. You will work closely with our experienced nursing team to deliver individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
">To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education to ensure that your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Care Delivery: Provide direct patient care to critically unwell children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care, sharing information and coordinating efforts to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education: Participate in educational programs and workshops to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, using clear and concise language to convey information and address concerns.
Requirements
">- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience: Previous experience in a Paediatric Intensive Care or similar setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
