
Dental Therapy Professional

This role is designed to deliver high-quality oral health care services to patients of all ages. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough oral health assessments, diagnosing and treating a range of dental conditions, and providing education and advice to promote good oral health habits.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages. A background in dental therapy or a related field would be highly regarded.
In addition to delivering patient care, the successful candidate will also be involved in team-based activities to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Diagnose and treat a range of dental conditions, including restorative and preventive services
- Provide education and advice to patients on how to maintain good oral health
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a dental therapist
- Significant clinical experience in dental therapy, preferably in a community or public health setting
- Relevant experience in oral health promotion and a demonstrated commitment to evidence-based health promotion targeting at-risk communities
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Class C driver's license and willingness to travel for work purposes
