Job Description:

The role of dental assistant is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Support and assist dentists in the provision of oral health services to patients.
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including filing, maintaining electronic records, scheduling appointments, and managing stock.
  • Assist in the delivery of oral health promotion activities.
About the Role:
  • Permanent Part Time position
  • Position Classification: Dental Assist Grade 2
  • Remuneration: $33.26 - $35.53 per hour + Superannuation
  • Hours Per Week: 24
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage own work, prioritise tasks, use initiative, and problem solve.
  • Effectively communicate with adults, children, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Have demonstrated experience in infection control, instrument reprocessing, and dental assisting.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent work experience.
  • Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or demonstrated capacity and commitment to work toward achieving this qualification.
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
