Our firm is seeking an experienced Restructuring Accountant to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restructuring accounting and be able to support our business recovery unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal
- Assist in advisory, informal engagements, including independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments.
- Compile information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
- Build and develop relationships with clients, promoting our business restructuring offering
- Ensure all working papers are accurate and the file is maintained in an appropriate manner
- Ensure investigations are completed and any identified contraventions are reported on a timely basis
- 2-4 years of work experience in a similar role
- Degree-qualified in a relevant area
- CA or CPA qualification
- Ability to work as a team and independently as required
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members to ensure strong relationships
- High attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work
