Specialist Insolvency Accountant Role

  • Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Insolvency Accountant to join our dynamic team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments, including trade-on management, asset realisations, and statutory compliance.
  • Assist senior staff on advisory and informal engagements, such as Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and turnaround assignments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, investigations, and reporting to identify key issues and potential recoveries.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, recommendations, and correspondence for creditors, financiers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, legal advisors, banks, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure meticulous accuracy and compliance in maintaining working papers and case files.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About You:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience working within Corporate Insolvency and/or Restructuring in an accounting firm environment.
  • Qualifications: A relevant Bachelor's degree and currently studying towards or having completed your CA or CPA qualification.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
