Acute Care Enrolled Nurse Transition

Transition to Acute Care is a program designed to facilitate the transition of enrolled nurses from aged care backgrounds to an acute environment.
The 6-week program includes weekly education sessions targeting clinical skills and provides broad exposure to acute medical and surgical care, building confidence while expanding clinical skillsets.
Key objectives include strengthening capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively, refining decision-making abilities and sharpening critical thinking.
Applicants must have authority to work in Australia, current registration with AHPRA, compliance with ACQSHC National standards, commitment to quality patient care, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills.
