About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses from Aged Care backgrounds to join our Transition to Acute Care Program.
This program aims to facilitate a seamless transition from Aged Care to an Acute environment by providing in-depth exposure to acute medical and surgical care, building confidence and expanding clinical skillsets.
The program includes:
- Broad exposure to acute medical and surgical care
- Preceptorship throughout the program and beyond
- Opportunities to build confidence and expand clinical skillsets
As an Enrolled Nurse in this program, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive care to patients in acute settings
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Demonstrated time management & organisational skills
