Senior Ground Engineering Professional

This is a highly specialised role that requires shaping our approach to ground engineering challenges, driving innovation in tunnelling design and construction, and ensuring project delivery meets the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The Technical Executive will be accountable for defining and championing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for geotechnics and tunnelling. This includes leading all technical aspects of ground engineering, from site investigations and risk assessments to tunnel design, construction techniques, and ground improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap for geotechnics and tunnelling
  • Lead all technical aspects of ground engineering
  • Provide high-level technical oversight across complex projects
  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards
  • Promote the integration of cutting-edge technologies and digital tools
  • Act as a strategic advisor to key clients
  • Mentor and inspire multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster strong partnerships across the industry ecosystem
  • Represent the organisation as a thought leader

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in geotechnical and tunnelling, including 8+ years in senior technical and leadership roles
