About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ILS System Support Specialist to join our team at KBR Inc. in Canberra, Australia.

As an ILS System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of ILS and system support tasks for the transition from the MILIS system to the ERP/SAP management system.

You will also conduct a range of fleet and inventory tasks for sustainment, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics information systems, including MILIS and SAP/ERP systems, and experience in inventory management and logistics handling of cryptographic equipment.

Other key responsibilities include assisting the CA31 ILS Manager with preparation and engagement tasks to ensure a smooth transition to the new operating system, and providing technical expertise to fleet managers on ILS and system tasks.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Requirements
  • Qualifications: AQF Level 6 qualification in a relevant domain, or relevant industry experience of more than 8 years;
  • Experience: Knowledge and experience with inventory management and Logistics Information Systems, including Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS), and/or Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems;
  • Technical Proficiency: Technical experience or background, including the ability to obtain a Technical Proficiency Level 7 (under Land Domain (E&T) 12-1-005, Assessment of Technical Proficiency and Assignment of Technical Authority);
