Job Role: Case Manager

Management & Training Corporation is a global leader in the corrections, detention, training, and education sectors operating 23 Job Corps centres, 21 correctional facilities, 5 detention centres, 11 prison and detention medical departments and 2 workforce development sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services according to the Risk Needs Responsivity model.
  • Conduct case planning and assessment interviews to identify risks, needs and objectives; in collaboration with the inmates, identify goals and objectives, which are measurable and achievable.
  • Respond to inmate welfare requests and enquiries in accordance with defined policies, procedures and timelines.
  • Record case notes regularly and accurately, within the required timeframes.
  • Complete other administration tasks as may be required within the role.

Requirements:

  • Able to create positive change.
  • Passionate about working in a team environment.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills to ensure completion of outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to articulate complex information in plain English.
  • Able to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with proof being provided.

Desirable Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Personal attributes include sound judgment, effective communication, empathy, cultural understanding and adaptability.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with competing demands.
  • Proven rights to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to undergo alcohol and drug testing as required.
