Are you an experienced electrical trade professional looking to share your knowledge and skills with others? We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to join our team.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and develop technical training programs for engineering apprentices and tradespeople, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Assess and report on apprentices' and tradespeople's skills development, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Conduct trades personnel CCSM Skill Matrix Assessments and manage SA trade training schedules.
  • Mentor and deliver training packages, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Electrical Trade Certificate 3 and Unrestricted Electrical Workers License.
  • Ability to hold NV1 Security Clearance.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Engineering or tertiary qualifications in a training or RTO environment.
  • Experience within a heavy engineering/shipbuilding/ship repair industry.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years trade experience.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver trade training packages to apprentices and tradespeople.
  • Supervise training groups and individuals, including apprentices.
  • Conduct workplace assessments and VOCs.
Eligibility:

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
