**About the Opportunity**
We have two exciting training roles available for suitably qualified Electrical trainers based in Osborne, SA. The primary purpose of these roles is to deliver and develop technical trade training to Engineering Apprentices and Engineering Tradespeople.
**Responsibilities**
- Delivery of approved training whilst always maintaining a safe work environment.
- Develop and write training packages & training aids.
- Assessing & reporting on Apprentices & Trades skills development.
- Conduct Trades personnel CCSM Skill Matrix Assessments.
- Manage and schedule SA trade training and apprentice schedules.
- Mentor and deliver training packages.

- Strong oral & written communication.
**Essential Qualifications**
- Electrical Trade Cert 3 and Unrestricted Electrical Workers License.
- Must be able to hold NV1 Security Clearance.
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Diploma in Engineering.
- Tertiary qualifications in a training or RTO environment.
- Experience within a heavy engineering/shipbuilding/ship repair industry.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 10 years trade experience.
- Commitment to work within OWH&S regulations.
- Good computer literacy (MSOffice) to manage technical report writing & documentation management.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver trade training packages to Apprentices and Tradespeople.
- Supervise training groups and individuals, including apprentices.
- Draft apprentice reports.
- Conduct workplace assessments and VOC's.
**Eligibility**
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
