The role of a Physiotherapist Grade 2 – Pelvic Health is highly demanding, requiring the provision of best practice care to patients in the Pelvic Health stream.
This involves managing an independent caseload of acute outpatient pelvic health physiotherapy patients, including those with perinatal pelvic floor dysfunction, pre and post prostatectomy men's health patients, and acute pelvic pain and post gynaecological surgery referrals.
As part of the team, you will also train, supervise and cover the rotational Grade 1 working on the maternity ward managing inpatient referrals.
The multidisciplinary team includes Grade 4 Pelvic Health Stream Leaders, Grade 3 Senior Clinicians and site Physiotherapy Managers.
Travel to and work at various Monash Health sites may be required. The role values innovation, compassion and excellence, aiming to support staff in becoming their professional best.
Clinical education, training on the job and career progression are available to enable further development of clinical, leadership, quality improvement and research skills.

Mandatory requirements of the role include:
- Specialist clinical knowledge in Pelvic Health / Women's Health physiotherapy
- Relevant Physiotherapy qualification
- Current unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
