Youth Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Whitsundays region.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people aged 12-25, providing evidence-based mental health interventions and support to individuals and groups.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop and implement best-practice care plans.
Mentoring and supervising junior staff members will also be an essential part of this role, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
About the Role- Provide high-quality mental health services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Qualifications: Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with youth populations.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Standards for Mental Health Services and Family Systems Theory.
