Event Operations Coordinator

The Event Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of our events and hospitality operations. This position requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide team members with on-the-job training and development
  • Support the Event Floor Manager in delivering small events and leading a team of up to 10-20 Food and Beverage Attendants
  • Provide viable suggestions to the Manager to boost productivity
  • Brief staff at the start of every shift and troubleshoot potential issues
  • Continuously monitor the work of team members during shifts
Requirements:
  • Possess a solid background in the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrate flexibility in availability, including weekends and public holidays, to work a rotating roster
  • Be willing and able to work full-time hours (38 hours per week)
  • Show a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Have proven time-management skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure working environment
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold valid Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation
