**Job Description**

In this critical role, you will be responsible for carrying out both preventative and breakdown maintenance of the manufacturing plant and equipment. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager to undertake improvements and modifications as required. Additionally, you will perform MIG, TIG, and Electric Arc Welding tasks, assemble and fabricate pump sets, and work within a permit-to-work system. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and legal operation of equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess a mechanical trade certificate, be an Australian resident, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in chemical or similar industries process plant maintenance. Your expertise in welding (MIG, TIG, and Arc) is essential, as well as your ability to work independently and as part of a team. A forklift license, pump maintenance experience, and knowledge of compressors and pneumatics are desirable but not mandatory.

**Benefits**

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour, full-time working hours, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime opportunities. On-site parking is available, and ongoing training and development opportunities will help you grow professionally.

**Estimated Salary:** $63,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on a 38-hour week and assuming a moderate level of overtime.
