Patient Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide exceptional customer service to patients and callers, assisting with way-finding, appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and other inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients and callers with registration, appointment scheduling, and other requests.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
- Collect co-pays and handle other financial transactions.
- Referral and initial screening of patient sign/symptoms.
- Class scheduling and answer any other questions or concerns.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Post high school level coursework in healthcare, accounting, business, public relations or related field preferred.
- 1 year experience performing customer service or general office support experience in any industry preferred.
- Contact or call center experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse populations and maintain a positive impression.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Attentiveness to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods up to 12 hours depending on location.
- Work weekends, evenings, and holidays as assigned.
- Reliable transportation required.
