About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HCM Functional Consultant to join our team at Workday Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our implementation team, you will play a critical role in delivering successful Workday HCM solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Workday HCM solutions for medium to large enterprise clients, ensuring successful project outcomes and developing lasting client relationships.
  • Configure and demonstrate Workday solutions, assist clients in testing activities, and help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Work with clients to understand their business requirements and ensure they take full advantage of Workday's solutions.
  • Participate in regular training to expand product knowledge with each new Workday release.
  • Mentor and share product and industry knowledge with other consultants.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects.
  • 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following HCM solutions: Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking.
  • Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Experience across a variety of industries (e.g. Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Education, Government).
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • Australian Government security clearance to the required level.

  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
