About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team, responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of quality management plans and procedures on our multi-million-dollar civil infrastructure projects. As a key member of our project team, you will work closely with engineers and supervisors to promote best practice quality management and provide leadership and mentoring to engineers in relation to project QA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams to promote effective quality management practices.
  • Lead and mentor engineers in relation to project QA, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Verify that works constructed meet the required standards and specifications, and maintain accurate records to confirm compliance.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance the project's quality system.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Lead Auditor qualification highly regarded.
  • Experience managing QA management systems on major civil infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
