Security Specialist Role

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist to provide critical services in delivering secure solutions within complex environments.

This role requires exceptional expertise in advising on the design, implementation, and assurance of security outcomes.

As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive assets, advising on risk and governance, and delivering on security initiatives that directly support national interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and oversight of functional running of secure facility.
  • Ensuring work is compliant with relevant security policies and frameworks such as DISP and PSPF.
  • Contributing to relevant parts of Corporate Security Program.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess comprehensive security knowledge and experience in managing security classified information, personnel, and secure facilities.

A strong understanding of physical security and secure zones, particularly their governance and management requirements, is also essential.

Demonstrated ability to provide specialist security advice within a corporate setting and proven capability in preparing assessments and reports that meet strict regulatory requirements are highly desirable.

The following qualifications and certifications are preferred: COMSO Qualified, ADF Security Officer Qualified, Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC).
