About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about protecting against cyber threats.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's cyber security strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the team to identify and manage threats and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborating on SIEM operation, incident response and cyber security risk assessment
  • Fostering security awareness and supporting initiatives to improve security maturity

Required skills and qualifications:

Essential Skills

Cyber Security Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, networking, firewall and ITSM concepts

Experience working with Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows systems

Knowledge of standards/frameworks including NIST, ASD Essential 8

Technical Skills

Hands-on approach as technologist

Experience working with data loss prevention, endpoint protection, SIEM solutions

Access control, security protocols, vulnerability management, incident and event management

Flexible work arrangements for response to cyber incidents

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent IT certification/qualification

Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory experience

Preferred Skills

Mitre ATT&CK Framework and cyber kill-chain exposure

Scripting languages such as Python understanding

Digital forensics/threat hunting tools and techniques experience

CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Zimmerman Tools, Velociraptor and Tenable experience

Elasticsearch, Splunk and Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory experience
