**Job Overview:**

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the Specialty Excavation Specialist position.

This role will involve:

  • - Developing and executing sales and rental strategies for heavy machinery, including Vermeer Surface Miners, Track Trenchers, Pipeline Horizontal Directional Drills, Mud Pumps and Reclaimers
    - Commercial management of major accounts, fostering long-term partnerships across multiple market segments

Key responsibilities include:

  • - Creating and maintaining relationships with Tier 1 pipeline, mining and construction companies
    - Project-based prospecting, identifying new business opportunities
    - Facilitating quote preparation, tenders & sales proposals
    - Preparing regular reports on progress and forecasts
    - Promoting whole-goods, parts, and service as a customer solution

Requirements for this role:

  • - Previous sales experience in a related industry
    - Knowledge of resale values of specific machinery
    - Understanding of local market conditions
    - Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM & sales software systems
