Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Youth Mental Health Specialist to provide supportive services to young people aged 16–21 experiencing mental health challenges.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with young people, families, and carers to develop personalized recovery plans through one-on-one sessions, shared supports, workshops, and group facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based support programs to promote mental wellness and resilience in young people.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
  • Work effectively in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing needs and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Youth Work, Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other related field.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Experience supporting young people with complex mental health needs.
